2022 Tiara Sauvignon Blanc

Hill Family Estate makes 2 different Sauvignon Blanc wines. Tiara is a rich aromatic type of Sauvignon Blanc. It takes advantage of the Musque clone, and we do everything we can to hold on to the lovely fresh Musque character. After settling, we had 3 lots going through barrel fermentation, each with a different yeast, Pinot Alba on the Windy Flats Block 1, Sauvage on the Windy Flats Block 4, and Delta on the Watson Ranch Sauvignon Blanc. After 3 months in barrel, all the lots turned out very well, so the final Tiara blend is the result of how the wines fit best together. The nose is flowery and fruity, and the palate is clean, elegant, and complex. The 2022 Tiara has beautiful aromas of pineapple, honeysuckle, coconut, vanilla, shortbread cookie and white peach. The wine is ripe and exotic, full bodied, yet refreshing, with white peach, wild ginger flower, melon and nectarine flavors all on full display. The wine finishes smooth and textured.
