2018 Carly’s Cuvee Chardonnay

Carly’s Cuvee is made from a selection of Chardonnay vineyards that Doug Hill has close connections with or manages himself. Crafted with very little malolactic influence and light oak makes this crisp, multi-layered Chardonnay a wine that enhances food and holds its own on the patio. Carly Hill is Doug Hill’s daughter, and her contributions to Hill Family Estate are honored with this beautiful wine. Easy weather and a generous crop characterized the 2018 season. The 2018 Carly’s Cuvee Chardonnay offers aromas of pineapple, peach and toasted hazelnut. The palate is graceful and tasty with richly layered flavors of tropical fruit and a pretty lemon custard finish.
