2020 Stagsview Chardonnay

The 2020 Stagsview Chardonnay is a graceful, elegant wine showing both its cool climate pedigree and the advantage that great sites have on Chardonnay. 2020 offered consistent, nice weather throughout the growing season, with a hot spell in late August that allowed the grapes to ripen to maturity. The Chardonnay was barrel fermented then aged in oak for 9 months prior to bottling, and about 20% went through malolactic fermentation to increase the depth and texture of the wine. Notes of vanilla and pineapple are balanced by a rich, creamy finish and beautiful, satiny texture.
