Hill Family Estate, one of Napa Valley’s best wineries, started producing Sauvignon Blanc in 2005. Since the inaugural bottling, the style of this wine has remained the same, and is produced exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown at Hill family’s Napa Valley vineyards. Sauvignon Blanc is a grape variety that thrives in slightly warm and cooler areas, so our Watson vineyard in American Canyon and Windy Flats vineyard in Wooden Valley are ideal locations to grow this variety.
Its acidity and tropical fruit notes make Sauvignon Blanc a natural companion for seafood. Many restaurants around the country, proudly serve the Hill Family Estate Sauvignon Blanc on their wine list knowing it is from a top winery in Napa Valley.
The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc offers lovely aromas of white peach and melon, followed by pineapple and orange blossom. The palate is soft, light, and refreshing, echoing the same pineapple and white peach flavors found in the aromas, and ends in a crisp, clean finish. The wine can be tasted and purchased while wine tasting in Yountville at our tasting room. Guests can also taste the wine at our Yountville vineyard and winery location, located on the outskirts of Yountville.
