We’re Moving to Our Estate Winery Location
Hill Family Estate, a family-owned, farmed and operated winery located in the Yountville appellation, has announced that they will be moving their hospitality operations to their estate winery location beginning in 2027. The business currently operates out of two locations; a tasting room in the town of Yountville, and an estate winery location on Solano Avenue, just outside of the Yountville town limits.
Hill Family’s Lifelong Dream
In 2019, the Hill family realized their lifelong dream of owning a winery in Napa Valley. The Hills purchased a small winery in the Yountville appellation, just a short distance from the Yountville town and community that have long been home to their family and business. The Hill Family Estate winery and vineyard sit just below the benchlands of the Mayacamas mountains. The winery is small and rustic; it is a perfect reflection of how the Hill family started as farmers who wanted to bring people together to enjoy the beauty of Napa Valley and the wines they produce. Improvements have been made to the property to prepare for this planned transition.
Deep Gratitude to the Town of Yountville
Proprietor Ryan Hill shared his gratitude to the town of Yountville with the following message: “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to this wonderful town that has been home to the Hill Family Estate tasting room for the past 20 years. From the very beginning, you welcomed our family with open arms and gave us the opportunity to grow, learn and build something meaningful. Whether through your patronage, your encouragement, or simply your friendly conversations, you have made the past two decades very special. We look forward to our next chapter, and we cannot think of a more ideal spot for our family and the future of our wine business.”
Hill Family Estate’s tasting room will remain open to the public through the remainder of 2026 before moving operations and hospitality to the winery location.
