The tasting room in Yountville is conveniently located in the town of Yountville, walking distance to hotels and restaurants. The space is ideal for large group/corporate tastings or informal reception-style events.

Our estate winery, situated in the Yountville appellation just outside of town, is a tranquil setting surrounded by vineyard views and mountain scenery. The property is ideal for reception-style gatherings and intimate dinners. Primarily an outdoor space, usage of the winery for private events is weather-dependent.

THE FINE PRINT

RENTALS

Hill Family Estate provides complete access to the property, which includes usage of all existing furniture. Wine glassware is included for groups of 20 or fewer. For groups of 20+, a separate glassware rental order will be required. Additional rentals may need to be secured depending upon type of event and guest count (tables, chairs, linens, flatware, dishware, etc). The client has the option of securing their rentals themselves, or having Hill Family Estate place the order and pass along the cost.

CATERING

Hill Family Estate does not have an onsite culinary program. Clients are welcome to hire a licensed caterer for their event, and recommend working with Hill Family Estate to ensure the caterer requests any additional rentals as needed. Hill Family Estate will provide clients with a list of caterers if requested.

WINE MINIMUM

The per person wine minimum is agreed upon in advance based on the expected number of guests. The total minimum is due prior to the event, not paid individually per person. For example, the fee for a 30-person event at the tasting room would be a $2,250 wine minimum plus tax and gratuity ($75/person x 30 guests). The featured wines will be poured throughout the event. All remaining bottles belong to the client and can be taken at the conclusion of the event or shipped home.
