Hill Family Estate, one of the best wineries in Yountville, is pleased to offer club members an unguided tasting experience at their winery overlooking the beautiful Yountville vineyards. This experience will allow you and your guests to enjoy Hill Family Estate wines – without a host. You will also have the option of adding a picnic basket to enjoy with the wines and amazing views.
This unique experience is limited to 8 guests and available Thursday-Sunday with an advance appointment. A minimum purchase requirement of 2-bottles is required to secure a reservation. Picnic baskets need to be ordered 72 hours in advance and can be purchased for $75. Each picnic basket includes the following items: A selection of three cheeses (Piave, Beemster Gouda, Notre Dame Triple Cream Brie), loaf of Bouchon Bakery french bread, crackers, sliced soppressata, 5oz bottle of Napa Valley olive oil and a selection of seasonal cookies. Hill Family Estate will provide cheese knives, a corkscrew, wine glasses and a cutting board. These items will need to be returned to Hill Family Estate at the end of the experience. Hill Family Estate is looking forward to hosting guests in September and October as harvest will be in full swing, and there will be a lot of fun things for guests to see at the winery. The Hill family plans to crush and ferment 40 tons of grapes at the winery this year. The harvest season is one of the best times to visit Napa Valley, and being able to witness the romance of harvest followed by a picnic experience at the winery is one of the most memorable ways to enjoy a day in wine country!
